About Underground
Underground Venues is the most popular venue group on the Buxton Fringe. This year, we are managing two spaces: an intimate theatre The Paupers' Pit, and a comedy and music space The Barrel Room, both situated under the historic Old Hall Hotel. We will also be producing a number of shows and events with opportunities particularly for musicians and comedians.
How to apply to Underground Venues...
- Read Up - first read up about who we are, what we do and how it works, in our "Need To Know" section.
- Sign up - sign up as a performer to our website, and fill in some information about your company...
- Make your application - once you have signed up, log in and fill in an application form for each show you wish to submit
What happens next...
- Compile information on your show - get together anything that you think we'll find useful / interesting: photographs, videos, reviews, designs, publicity materials, then send it to us at applications@undergroundvenues.co.uk
- Keep your contact info up to date - we'll look at your application, then contact you to discuss it, and request any further info we need.
- Cross you fingers - we'll confirm our final programme before the end of April, but we'll try to give our decisions as soon as possible
