The Barrel Room
Located beneath the Old Hall Hotel, and part of the Orchestral Pit, the Barrel Room is an atmospheric but relaxed setting, ideal for music, comedy and cabaret.
The raised stage blocks can be moved to create an end-on theatre or more intimate traverse seating.
With easy access to the bar, and a minute away from the Pauper's Pit, the Barrel Room will again be the hub of this Fringe's Entertainment. It is also highly effective for atmospheric storytelling and spoken word events.
“The ideal venue for a cosy night of stand-up. It is small enough to create an instant rapport between audience and artist but with plenty of hidden, alcove seating for those who prefer their comedy a little less interactive!”
