Lady In Bed

The Weird Sisters

Lady In Bed is a solo show written and performed by Alison Goldie which takes the audience on a funny and moving quest for love and sexual adventure. Drawing on various true stories from her life, Alison relates and enacts a selection of episodes from the early 1970’s to the present day. She plays a huge array of characters including her lovers, various animals and her teenage self.

She takes apart the foibles of herself and her men, sometimes with compassion, sometimes with despair, sometimes with wicked humour.
Alison animates an odyssey to understand herself and Men, which both sexes should find thrilling, heart-warming and revelatory. However, it would be ill-advised for one or two of her exes to come and see the show...

'Funny and touching with fabulous pithy observations on life. The show is racy and pacy....Alison consistently holds the attention of the whole audience. Lady In Bed is a brilliant piece of theatre.
