The Lover

Bath University Student Theatre

Is a life without love better than a life without truth? Richard and Sarah's marriage is built on a bedrock of deception and lies, but when these illusions begin to crumble, it begins to seem doubtful whether there is anything left in their relationship strong enough to keep them together.

Following their Best Drama Production nomination at the 2007 Buxton Fringe for Franz Kafka's The Trial, BUST return to Buxton to present this early work by one of England’s foremost modern dramatists, a thought-provoking and touching insight into the flaws and eccentricities that lie at the heart of even the most solid relationship.
